Responsibilities
- Provide special education services to students with special needs in their homes or other settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Monitor student progress, adjust instructional strategies as needed, and communicate with families and care teams
- Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress and services provided
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in special education
Requirements
- Special Education Teacher's certificate for ages Birth to Two, or Pre-k to 12
