Special Education English Language Arts (Leave Replacement)

About the role

This position is for a Middle School Teacher/Special Education in the English Language Arts subject area at Roosevelt Middle School. The position is a leave replacement for September 1, 2026 to October 7, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teach English Language Arts to students in grades 5-8
• Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities as per the NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate
• Adhere to the WOEA Collective Bargaining Agreement for compensation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree
• NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate required
• Teaching experience preferred

• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and support staff
• Knowledge of educational technology and resources

Skills

• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs

Pay
