SPECIAL EDUCATION AUDIOLOGIST (POOL FOR EXTERNAL APPLICANTS)

About the role
Special Education Audiologist position available in District Wide location. Pool position for future teaching opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with hearing impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assist in the evaluation and monitoring of student progress towards IEP goals.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities related to special education.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Audiology or related field.
- Current Washington State Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement.
- Experience working with students with hearing impairments.
- Knowledge of federal and state laws related to special education.
Qualifications
- Passport to work in the Puyallup School District.
- Ability to obtain necessary certifications and endorsements.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
