Special Education Aides - MD

About the Role

This is a non-affiliated, 10-month support staff position at MD Ridge Ranch Elementary School for the 2025-2026 school year. The role involves assisting the principal and/or teachers in maintaining a well-organized, smoothly functioning class environment to support student learning.

This is a non-benefited position with a schedule of 5.75 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Assist the principal and/or teachers in maintaining a well-organized, smoothly functioning classroom environment.
• Support students in taking full advantage of the instructional program and resource materials.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• Ability to work effectively with school-aged children.
• Demonstrated interest in education and students.
• New Jersey resident or willingness to relocate.
• Successful completion of controlled substance testing and criminal history background check.

Qualifications

Salary range: $24.70 - $29.45 per hour, determined by prior school-based ABA experience.

Evaluation

Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board's policy on Evaluation of Non-Certified Personnel.
