Special Education ABS, DCD, or ASD Setting III Long Term Substitute Teacher

Job Title: SPECIAL EDUCATION ABS, DCD or ASD LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE TEACHER Job Description Full-time (1.0) ABS, DCD or ASD Setting III long term substitute teacher at Jefferson Elementary School. This position commences on approximately 1/15/27 and goes until 4/8/27. Qualifications Experience working with Elementary school aged Special Education students with academic and behavior challenges; knowledge of due process forms and procedures required; knowledge of MN ABS, DCD or ASD criteria and the evaluation process including Functional Behavior Assessments; understanding the use of Positive Behavior Supports; knowledge of how to write a Behavior Intervention Plan; ability to work in a team; training or willingness to be trained in de-escalation techniques; excellent oral and written communication skills; highly qualified in math, reading and English preferred. Must be able to direct the work of professionals. All candidates will be considered. Licensure Licensure by the State of Minnesota in Elementary Education as well as licensure by the state of Minnesota in ABS, DCD or ASD; multiple licensure preferred.
