Special Ed. Specialized Paraeducator (BSP)

About the role

Edison Elementary School seeks a Specialized Paraeducator (BSP) to support students in their specialized education program. The position involves 7.5 hours per day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Responsibilities

• Support students with special needs under the supervision of certified teachers.
• Assist with daily classroom activities and routines.
• Provide additional academic and behavioral support as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other staff members.

Requirements

• At least one of the following:
• At least 48 credit hours of college coursework.
• Absorbed Associates Degree.
• Absorbed Paraeducator Certificate.
• National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC).

Pay
