Special Care Aide SCA | $1,300 Sign on Bonus Hourly Pay: $19/hr Bergen County, New Jersey Flexible Schedule | PRN | Urgently Hiring

Responsibilities

• Supporting new client admissions and Start of Care visits
• Providing personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Preparing meals and assisting with daily living activities
• Performing light housekeeping and household support
• Assisting with errands and transportation when appropriate
• Monitoring and reporting changes in client condition
• Maintaining accurate documentation and visit records
• Providing coverage for open shifts, call-offs, and urgent staffing needs
• Traveling throughout the assigned service area to support clients
• Promoting Elara Caring's mission and commitment to quality care

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, where required by state regulations
• Minimum six (6) months of experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals
• NJ Board of Nursing Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) License
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Caregiver must be compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
• Must be able to work independently and adapt to changing assignments
• Reliable personal transportation, current registration, and auto insurance
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and perform physical caregiving duties
