Job Specifications Starting Wage: $24.64/hr - $35.20/hrEmployment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 Shift Type: Full Time hours availableMinimum Age: At least 18 years of age Housing Availability: Yes Job Responsibilities Promote guest safety on varied terrain with varying winter weather conditionsAssist injured/ill guests on the mountainTransporting injured guests off the mountain using a toboggan or supporting air lift operationsMaintain trails, including hazard identification and setting up closures, safety materials, and other impacts from the resort environmentTransporting supplies and heavy equipment to areas of needPerforming closing procedures at the end of the day to ensure that all guests are safely off the mountainEnforcement of the Skier Responsibility Code and Resort PoliciesChairlift and guest evacuationOperating snowmobiles to various areas of the mountain, as neededSupervise and administer trainingDemonstrates effective communication skills and strong guest service skillsInterface with and be a liaison for other departments involved with ski area operationsAct as a leader and coordinate all aspects of Specialist Department in coordination with direct SupervisorSupport daily ski patrol operation and perform ski patrol dutiesOther duties as assigned Job Requirements 3-5 years of previous patrol experience preferredPass resort Ski Patrol sponsored ski test, capable of skiing all types of terrain under all weather conditions.Must be able to communicate fluently in EnglishMust have excellent guest service skillsMust be able to work in inclement weather in a mountain environmentExcellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills – RequiredAbility to effectively work within a team – RequiredTime Management & organizational skills – RequiredLeadership ability – RequiredStrong Decision making skills – RequiredCompetent with Windows based programs; specifically Microsoft Office - RequiredExpert skiing/riding skills - RequiredCurrent OEC, EMT-B or higher medical certification – Required The expected pay range is $24.64/hr - $35.20/hr.
