About the Role

Language Trainers is seeking a Spanish Teacher for one of our students in Scottsdale, United States. The teacher will provide customized, one-to-one Spanish lessons to a beginner-level student aged 17 and under. The student needs professional support with summer Spanish homework, as their parents do not speak Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 20 hours of one-to-one Spanish lessons, with sessions lasting 1.5–2 hours each.
• Teach at the student's home in Paradise Valley, AZ (near Scottsdale).
• Follow a schedule of 5 lessons per week, Monday to Friday, with specific time slots until August 17th (11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.).
• Adjust the schedule after August 17th based on the student’s school activities.

Requirements

• Be a native Spanish speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location.
• Have a valid work permit/visa (we cannot sponsor visas).

Qualifications

Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in language instruction are required.

Schedule

• 5 lessons per week, Monday to Friday.
• Until August 17th: Lessons between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
• After August 17th: Schedule adjusted based on student’s school activities.

Pay

Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
