About the role

The Providence Country Day School seeks a dynamic, versatile educator to serve as a part-time Spanish teacher in the Lower School. Spanish courses are offered from Pre-K through AP in the Upper School.

Responsibilities

• Teach weekly Spanish classes to PK-4 students
• Develop and introduce listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
• Expose students to other cultures, historic and modern
• Collaborate with a faculty team
• Be an integral part of students' lives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
• Experience with or background in project-based learning and differentiated instruction is desired
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
