About the Role
Bishop Blanchet High School is seeking a Spanish Teacher for a Long-Term Substitute role for the 2026/27 school year. This is a benefit-eligible position reporting to the Principal, with a start date of August 20, 2026.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in specific content area; Master's degree or higher preferred
- Preferred: Washington State Teaching credential (or ability to obtain one) in content area
- This is a long term sub position for 2026-2027 school year with the possibility of extending
The Ideal Candidate Will Have a Commitment To
- Possess ability to teach Spanish 1 and Spanish 2
- Collaborate in Professional Learning Communities and working toward consensus with team members
- Structure student learning to meet Common Core, State, National, or other standards
- Create common formative and summative assessments with department team members
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Strategize for enrichment/intervention to meet the needs of all students
- Utilize technology (interactive boards, one-to-one devices, google suite) to inform instruction
Compensation and Summary of Benefits

- Salary Range: $73,337 - $143,359
