About the role

The Lake Shore Central School District seeks a Spanish (World Languages - LOTE) teacher to join their team. The position reports to District Administration and is subject to the terms of the LSCTA Contract.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student growth.
• Implement high-quality, research-based instructional practices that foster fluent language learners.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Embed executive functioning skills into daily instruction.
• Partners effectively with colleagues and families.
• Use data to inform and adjust instruction.
• Build positive relationships with students.

Requirements

• Strong content expertise in Spanish.
• Valid New York State certification as a teacher of Spanish.
• A thorough knowledge of New York State Common Core Learning Standards for Spanish for the secondary level.
