Spanish Teacher

About the Role

Andover School of Montessori is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Spanish Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will teach classes for preschool through middle school in a Montessori setting, introducing students to the Spanish language and Hispanic culture through immersive and experiential learning experiences. Lunch, recess, and classroom coverage duties are included.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, culturally enriching Spanish lessons for students of varying proficiency levels (preschool through middle school).
• Implement immersive and experiential learning experiences aligned with Montessori philosophy.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Cover lunch, recess, and classroom duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Spanish language, education, or a related field.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish.
• Prior experience teaching Spanish.
• Understanding and appreciation of the Montessori philosophy and educational approach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
