About the role

As a Classroom Teacher at Franklin Academy Charter Schools, you will lead a classroom of diverse learners, delivering engaging, high-quality instruction aligned with state and school-specific standards. You will create a safe, supportive environment where students are excited to learn and empowered to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Foster student growth by using a variety of teaching strategies, including hands-on activities, collaborative projects, and individualized support to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maximize student achievement through ongoing assessments and tailored instructional adjustments to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to provide well-rounded support for students’ academic and personal success.
• Build a positive classroom environment based on mutual respect, active inquiry, and a shared passion for learning, where all students feel heard, valued, and empowered.
• Incorporate technology and creative tools to enhance the learning experience and prepare students for success in a 21st-century world.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities supported by the school, staying informed about emerging trends and continuously modeling lifelong learning for your students.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent).
• Possession of, or eligibility for, valid teaching certification.
• Teaching experience, which may include student teaching or other relevant experience.
• A strong command of the subject(s) you teach and the ability to deliver content in an engaging, impactful manner.
• Adherence to the Code of Ethics for the Education Profession.

• Deep knowledge of instructional practices and content areas, with the ability to apply these effectively in the classroom.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.

Total Possible Compensation Package: $57,187.50
