About the role
We are seeking a Spanish-speaking Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients, supporting their independence and positive behavior. Your role will be crucial in implementing skill-building and care plans while fostering a positive learning environment for clients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, implementing evidence-based interventions.
- Be an integral part of the clinical team, directly executing skill-building and care plans.
- Accurately record session data using electronic devices.
- Create a positive learning atmosphere for clients and establish connections with their families.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Spanish is required.
- Genuine willingness to learn and passionate about helping children with Autism.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, compassion, and maintain composure in challenging situations.
- RBT certification is mandatory for this role.
Important Details
- Services will be delivered in clients' homes or community-based settings.
- All positions initially start as part-time.
- Candidates must commit to a 6-month duration to positively impact our clients' lives.
Ideal Backgrounds
- Education or early childhood development.
- Childcare, babysitting, or youth mentorship.
- Teaching assistant, paraprofessional, or instructional aide roles.
- After-school programs or camp counseling.
- Behavioral health, mental health, or social services.
- Experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals with Autism.
- Healthcare support roles (DSP, CNA, HHA, PCA, caregiver).
- Supporting a neurodiverse family member or loved one.
