About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
- Provide support and encouragement to children with autism to help them reach their full potential.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills and knowledge in behavior analysis.
- Support the BCBA in conducting assessments and data collection to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
Requirements
- Passionate about helping children with autism.
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
- 18+ years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year).
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
Qualifications
- Experience in behavior analysis or related field preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and effective strategies for supporting children with autism.

- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and environments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
$19 - $20 per hour
Schedule
Hours vary based on client needs, typically 8-hour shifts.
