About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
  • Provide support and encouragement to children with autism, helping them reach their full potential.
  • Be prepared to work with unpredictable and potentially confrontational children, requiring physical stamina and adaptability.

Requirements

  • Passionate about helping children with autism.
  • Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year).
  • Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.

Qualifications

We prefer candidates who have experience in behavior analysis, but we will provide comprehensive training for those who do not.

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay

$19 - $24 per hour

Schedule

Hours vary based on client needs, typically 8-hour shifts.
