Job Summary

We are seeking Spanish-speaking Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. The role involves implementing individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques to teach essential skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

About the Role

As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with children, providing one-on-one support and collaborating with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to develop and implement behavior plans. Your work will contribute to the development and well-being of children with autism.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques
  • Work collaboratively with BCBA and other team members
  • Provide support to children in a variety of settings
  • Ensure safety and compliance with all policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Passionate about helping children with autism
  • Patient and compassionate
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • 18+ years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and a TB test (if applicable)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Bilingual in Spanish

Qualifications

  • Experience in behavioral analysis is preferred but not required
  • Comprehensive training provided by Centria Autism

Pay

$19 - $24 per hour

Schedule

Hours vary based on client needs and may include evenings and weekends.
