Spanish Speaking Behavior Technician
Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism.
About the Role
You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans
- Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques
- Reduce interfering behaviors through the use of evidence-based techniques
- Provide support and encouragement to children with autism
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician after completing onboarding
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

Pay
$20 - $24 per hour
