Spanish Preschool Assistant Teacher

About This Role We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Bilingual Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team in East Point, GA. In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and multilingual learning environment where young children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically. You will play a key role in bridging communication between the school, students, and families. What You'll Do Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities that promote bilingual language development.Provide individual and small-group support to children during learning, playtime, and meal routines.Communicate effectively with parents and families, translating classroom updates and progress reports when necessary.Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming classroom environment.Monitor children's behavior and development, reporting observations back to the lead teacher. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent certification.Native or professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare facility or classroom setting.Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and fingerprinting required by the state of Georgia.Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills. Nice To Haves Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or coursework in Early Childhood Education.Current CPR and First Aid certification.Familiarity with Georgia Bright from the Start rules and regulations.
