Spanish Interpreter - Shippensburg, PA

Overview: Language Services Associates is seeking Spanish interpreters in the Shippensburg, PA area to join its network of independently contracted interpreters. In this role you will facilitate language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community across a variety of settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Follow all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry‑specific best practices.
• Meet clearance requirements as requested by clients.
• Report on‑site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner.
• Utilize personal or public transportation to reach assignment locations.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry‑specific certifications or trainings preferred (e.g., CMI, CCHI).
