Spanish Bilingual HR Generalist

Responsibilities

  • Partner with managers and site leaders to address employee relations matters, provide coaching, and support effective people management practices across the facility.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for hourly and salaried roles, including sourcing, interview coordination, candidate selection support, and onboarding preparation.
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and complete employment documentation, system setup, and other administrative steps needed for a smooth start.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll activities, perform reconciliations, and assist with payroll coverage when additional support is needed.
  • Help maintain a workplace culture aligned with company values by encouraging open communication, gathering feedback, and supporting engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct workplace investigations, document findings thoroughly, and recommend appropriate follow-up actions in partnership with leadership and HR.
  • Administer benefits-related activities such as orientations, enrollment support, leave tracking, and employee questions regarding available programs.
  • Maintain training records, coordinate required annual training, and assist with performance management and employee development planning.
  • Support policy administration, HR reporting, labor market and wage analysis, exit processes, and broader compliance efforts to ensure accurate and consistent HR operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of HR experience, with 3-5 years in a Human Resources Generalist role preferred.
  • Working knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, recruiting, benefits administration, and HR record management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in documentation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and conflict resolution skills in a dynamic work environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills and experience with HRIS platforms are required.
