Responsibilities
- Captures project requirements from stakeholders and end users
- Evaluates project feasibility and performs spatial planning
- Develops design development documents, presentations, renders, and material pallets
- Creates drawings, elevations, sections, specifications, and schedules
- Compiles a database of existing finishes and FF&E specifications
- Manages procurement and oversees installation of design elements
- Collaborates with cross-departmental teams to define requirements and derive design details
- Solves design and construction conflicts in the field
- Manages project control tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
- Designs all elements of the project to meet target budgets
- Takes on new projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in architecture, interior design, or related design discipline
- 2+ years of experience creating design documents including plans, elevations, specifications, and schedules
- Experience in designing modern, minimalist, or futuristic spaces
- Experience in designing physical environments or branding for commercial and hospitality spaces
- Experience in selecting finishes, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and artwork for industrial and commercial projects
- Experience designing custom art pieces, including murals, sculptures, or other exhibitions
- Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, Revu Bluebeam, and/or AutoCAD software
- Proficiency in rendering software (Photoshop, Lumion, D5, Enscape, or similar)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience

- Experience in designing physical environments or branding for commercial and hospitality spaces

- Experience designing custom art pieces, including murals, sculptures or other exhibitions

Additional Requirements
- Based in Starbase, TX (Brownsville/South Padre Island Area)
- Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Flexible and comfortable working in a high-stress environment
