Internship Overview
Rostrum Pacific is offering an educational Digital Marketing Internship designed to help students learn how a small independent music ecosystem works. This internship provides a comprehensive look at how music is distributed. Interns will gain experience across three areas — Operations, Commerce/Streaming, and Marketing/Digital — while supporting real campaigns and label activities.
Key Areas of Learning
- Operations: Learn how to provide administrative support, update release calendars and marketing pitches, organize data to provide context, and help organize internal systems
- Commerce/Marketing: Contribute to social media & DSP strategy and planning, editorial pitching, platform engagement, and audience insights and trends
Requirements
- Passion for music, the independent music scene, and emerging technology
- Familiarity with platforms like Spotify, TikTok, and YouTube
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Interest in data analytics
- Must be currently enrolled full-time in a college or university program and eligible to receive school credit
Skills
Bonus: experience with Canva, Excel/Google Sheets, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing
Schedule
Flexible schedule of 10–15 hours/week
Location
Remote and/or in-office participation (Los Angeles, CA preferred)
