Space Propulsion Test Mechanic C- 1st Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Space Propulsion Test Mechanic C to work at our West Palm Beach, FL facility. This position is for 1st Shift.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of supervision or higher grade mechanic, work from procedures, drawings/prints, work instructions and specifications while interfacing with engineering to meet balancing, assembling, mounting, and testing requirements on new or development hardware.
• Audit records, analyze and compute data and maintain logs to assure compliance to departmental procedures and customer requirements.
• Provide assistance in the handling and distribution of liquids, steam, cryogenics and high pressure gases.
• Perform routine calibrations, maintain facilities and comply with area Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Maintain logs and records as required.
• Occasionally travel to off-site customer locations to perform service bulletin.
• Referring difficulties or unusual situations to leader/supervisor.

Requirements

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum 0-4 years experience. Requires Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License or equivalent industrial experience.
• Two year technical degree, trade school, or equivalent and 3-5 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Starting pay is $34.94 per hour, but can vary based upon experience.
