Space Program Acquisition Specialists (TS/SCI)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Space Program Acquisition Specialist on our new 10-year SETA U.S. Space Force (USSF) program to provide support in developing and deploying space-based weapon systems capabilities within the Program Executive Office's Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power portfolio in El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities

• Support and advise the Program Manager and Senior Space Force Leadership regarding acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and execution (PPBE).
• Develop and oversee acquisition planning briefs and documents (ESIS, ASP, ASD, etc.).
• Develop overarching program planning and execution documents from DODI 5000.02 and relevant DOD, AF, and SMC policies.
• Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor design/milestone reviews to assess progress, risks, and issues to achieve requirements.

Requirements

• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with SAP.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 7+ years (with Bachelor’s) or 5+ years (with a Master’s) of experience with acquisition and program management within the military and/or intelligence community field.
• Experience interfacing with acquisition offices.

Pay

Salary range: $140,000 – $170,000 (based on years of experience and education).
