Essential Roles & Responsibilities
- Interface with customers through all phases of the sales cycle to identify, pursue, and close new FreeFlyer and Meridian software sales
- Attend industry conferences and develop a global network
- Initiate product evaluations, discuss pricing and licensing options, and present software product demonstrations both in-person and remotely
- Establish relationships with existing customers
- Expand both university and international corporate partnerships
- Use Salesforce to track future sales opportunities and maintain existing customer accounts
- Work with the corporate marketing team to create and update promotional materials including blog posts, social media, FreeFlyer videos, and printed materials
- Travel to conferences 4+ times a year both domestically and internationally when it is safe to do so
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience working in sales or on aerospace-related topics
- U.S. citizenship
Desired Background
- Orbital mechanics/astrodynamics working knowledge, especially as it relates to commercial needs
- Use of flight dynamics-related modeling/simulation and computing tools, particularly FreeFlyer
- SalesForce customer relationship management (CRM) tool experience
- Ability to quickly connect in-person and in writing, and to actively listen and perceive the needs, values, or opinions of others
- Demonstrated leadership accomplishments academically and personally
- Proactive in identifying and addressing challenges to include innovations that result in positive organizational impact
