Job Summary
Execute the Kroger Company’s space management and assortment process for assigned categories through planogram development. Enhance the shopping experience by positively and measurably impacting sales/margins.
About the role
This hybrid position requires working in our Corporate Office at least two days per week based on your team’s schedule.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop expertise in assortment and planogram development to enable Kroger to reach their sales goals and stated objectives.
- Utilize data from syndicated sources such as 84.51 and IRI to support category objectives.
- Learn the JDA/Blue Yonder software for planogram development.
- Assist in quality assurance pre and post planogram publishing for each category update.
- Execute every step of the KOMPASS process; develop efficiencies on an ongoing basis and constantly contribute to the process including presentation creation, project tracking, etc.
- Communicate with internal and external departments as needed to execute planograms as requested.
Minimum Position Qualifications
- 4 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Preferred: Degree in Business, Statistics or Marketing
- Proficient Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience functioning in a corporate office environment
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Capability to collaborate with others and contribute effectively to a team
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize and multi-task
Minimum Physical Abilities
- Must be able to: remain standing/sitting for several hours at a time
- Lift 10-30 lbs. occasionally
