About the role
As a systems engineer for Space Force MUOS, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team defining, developing, and sustaining enhancements to a live communication system. The system provides warfighters with cellular phone-like service, enabling high-quality, high-capacity communication. The ideal candidate has a strong software background and experience on large solution programs involving both hardware and software.

- Worked as a Systems Engineer on a complex software system, or
- Understanding of DOD domain/programs, demonstrated capability to think at a systems level, and a growth mindset.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field
- 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
- Agile experience preferred
- Department of Defense SECRET security clearance preferred at time of hire; ability to obtain SECRET clearance within a reasonable timeframe required
- U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of work performed within our facilities

Pay
Target salary range: USD $124,397.00/Yr. - USD $138,003.00/Yr.
Schedule
- 3 days on-site with 2 days working from home, or
- 100% on-site if preferred
