Space Force FISNT SME/ Instructor
About the role
The Space Force FISINT SME & Instructor role supports a premier U.S. Space Force Military Intelligence Program at Peterson Space Force Base. This position directly strengthens the USSF ISR enterprise by developing, delivering, and maintaining advanced FISINT training for Guardians supporting critical national missions.
Responsibilities
- Lead course development, instruction, and curriculum updates for Space Force ISR training programs.
- Serve as the schoolhouse FISINT SME, ensuring course content remains current, relevant, and aligned with operational needs.
- Train students in FISINT fundamentals, collection methodologies, analytic techniques, and real-world tradecraft application.
- Maintain instructional quality and support continuous improvement across the training pipeline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 10+ years supporting USSF or DoD ISR missions.
- 4+ years of professional instruction within the SIGINT enterprise, with emphasis on FISINT.
- Strong communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10% for mission support.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent Space Force ISR operational experience.
- Recent Space Force instructor or schoolhouse experience.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range $82,550.00 - $149,225.00. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
