This field-based role supports Constellation’s Beer Sales Business Unit by executing space management initiatives, driving retail execution standards, and optimizing product space in key accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Constellation’s space-management vision in the field for an assigned Business Unit (BU).
  • Execute space-management initiatives, track results, and report progress.
  • Activate Constellation’s Retail Execution Standards (RES) and space strategy with distributors and retailers.
  • Lead physical space execution in 20 % of A&B controllable accounts within a concentrated geography.
  • Manage and track CBBD space gains/losses for the BU’s 20 % A&B controllable accounts plus KAM-managed accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong distributor and retailer partnerships to optimize space using distributor set libraries.
  • Collaborate with independent A&B controllable accounts to improve space allocation.
  • Uncover and pursue volume and distribution growth opportunities through space management.
  • Understand CBBD, distributor, and retailer space strategies, business needs, and goals.
  • Deliver space-management presentations to distributors and retailers to increase CBBD space and assortment.
  • Partner with distributors’ space-management teams on data collection for distributor-managed sets.
  • Conduct space and distribution opportunity analysis to optimize revenue and profit for CBBD and the retailer.
  • Use tools and resources to support product addition and deletion recommendations by brand and package.
  • Build success stories for segment flow, adjacencies, and brand-blocking techniques as directed by RES.
  • Coordinate crew drives for selling-space activity.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in the beverage-alcohol industry with knowledge of distributor and retailer space management.
  • Knowledge or experience in Blue Yonder Space Planning and Mission Control (highly preferred).
  • Understanding of Circana, Nielsen, or Spectra syndicated data and system outputs.
  • Above-average proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 25 % of working time, including up to 5 hours of driving per day.
  • Demonstrated diligence and ability to follow through on all commitments.
  • Proven track record in building strong relationships with customers and internal/external associates.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of CPG retail and/or space-management experience.
  • 1+ years of distributor or retail store-management experience.
  • Advanced understanding of Circana, Nielsen, or Spectra system outputs and measures.
  • Expert-level user of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Must be able to move up to 55 lbs.
  • Use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
  • Climb or balance stairs/ladders.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
  • Close vision, distant vision, ability to adjust focus, and peripheral vision.
  • Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a car and travel via plane/train as needed.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Pay

$74,900.00 – $112,300.00 per year. This range reflects the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
