Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Greet and escort guests, provide locker room orientation and amenity overview with exceptional attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness
- Friendly, polished communication with discretion and guest privacy
- Anticipate guest needs and offer proactive service
- Maintain a quiet, gracious presence; resolve minor issues and escalate when needed
- Amenity Setup & Presentation: Prepare and refresh hydro/thermal areas and relaxation lounge
- Set up water stations, coffee/tea bar service, and light snacks
- Ensure 30-minute cleaning and disinfection schedules
- Test and record hydro/thermal water chemistry; report variances immediately
- Test and ensure Dry Sauna & Steam rooms are at standard temperature, following state health regulations
- Follow all health codes, OSHA standards, and PPE protocols
- Operations & Inventory: Open/close the spa following SOP checklists and standards
- Monitor par levels and restock linens, beverages, and amenities
- Report maintenance issues promptly to spa manager and document in log
- Team Support: Coordinate with Front Desk, Providers, and Housekeeping
- Assist guest movement between areas to protect quiet zones
- Unpack and stock back-of-house inventory and guest items
- Lift a minimum of 30 lbs
- Work comfortably in humid, warm, and low-light environments
- Adhere to all spa policies and procedures
- Perform any other duty assigned to enhance the spa
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and consulting skills
- Superior customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fully competent in Microsoft Office
- Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation
- Ability to inspect and maintain areas of responsibility
- Ability to use equipment associated with the position (e.g., exercise equipment, tanning beds, spa facilities, cash register)
- Physical ability to maneuver in the work area, assist guests, and perform job duties
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds of towels, equipment, and supplies
- Ability to work in varying conditions: cold, heat, wet/humid, crowds, and noise
- Current CPR/AED certification preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity
- High energy and proactive, strategic approach to issues
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively at all organizational levels
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- One year of prior hospitality, luxury retail, fitness club, or spa experience
Pay
Starting salary: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, plus tips
