About the role
As a Soybean Crush Operator, you will be integral to the production process, ensuring that raw materials are transformed into essential products safely, efficiently, and to high standards.Responsibilities
- Start up, operate, and shut down soy processing equipment.
- Conduct quality checks.
- Maintain daily records and logs.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on operating equipment.
- Perform general labor, housekeeping, and sanitation responsibilities as required.
- Work within safety and environmental guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies.
- Comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs).
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong reading, writing, math, and analytical skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 0 to 1 year of experience in similar roles.
- Able to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), carrying tools and equipment (0-50 pounds).
- Exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db), and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
- Must be able to wear protective equipment, including self-contained breathing apparatus.
- Travel to remote facilities may be required.
