Soybean Crush Operator

About the role

As a Soybean Crush Operator, you will be integral to the production process, ensuring that raw materials are transformed into essential products safely, efficiently, and to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Start up, operate, and shut down soy processing equipment.
• Conduct quality checks.
• Maintain daily records and logs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on operating equipment.
• Perform general labor, housekeeping, and sanitation responsibilities as required.
• Work within safety and environmental guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies.
• Comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs).
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong reading, writing, math, and analytical skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0 to 1 year of experience in similar roles.
• Able to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), carrying tools and equipment (0-50 pounds).
• Exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db), and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
• Must be able to wear protective equipment, including self-contained breathing apparatus.
• Travel to remote facilities may be required.

Pay
