Southwest Region Water Business Group Director

About the role

We are seeking a Southwest Region Water Business Group Director to lead business group initiatives and drive regional growth. The ideal candidate will have proven relationships within major water organizations, strong business skills, and a commitment to quality improvement and HDR values.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead business group initiatives for the Region working with Market Sector and Business Group leadership
• Implement and maintain an effective regional business group program, including business development strategies, new business prospects and technical services, quality delivery, production methods and standards
• Drive regional growth and meet growth expectations by working cooperatively and partnering with other Regional Business Group Directors, Regional Operations Directors, Area Managers and Market Sector Directors
• Mentor Area Business Group Managers, Area Business Development Managers, and key personnel
• Identify and prioritize strategic hires and recruit candidates
• Participate in water industry associations and organizations
• Lead as the Business Group point of interface with Operations
• Be committed to quality, improvement, and HDR values
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
• A minimum of 12 years experience in related field
• Demonstrated experience with leading diverse teams
• Works cooperatively with other regional business group directors, regional and local office managers, technical and marketing directors
• Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values
• Strong operations and client development skills
• Experience with alternative delivery contracting and risk management

Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is $262,000 - 328,000 depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
