About the role

Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans based on district and state curriculum guidelines.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed to meet individual learning needs.
• Engage students in active learning through various instructional methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and support student success.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress.

Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR eligibility to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
• Knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
