About the role

Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district and state standards.
• Assess student learning through various methods and provide feedback.
• Instruct students in mathematics at the 5-12 grade level.
• Evaluate and improve instructional strategies based on student performance data.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and support student success.

Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas.
• Eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential if not already licensed.
• Knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.

• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and staff.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
