South Sacramento - School Based Behavioral Class Aid

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral support in a school setting, focusing on Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA).
• Support students ranging from pre-K to high school.
• Work in either a 1:1 or general classroom aide capacity.
• In a 1:1 support role, go to each class with your student to provide behavioral and educational support throughout the day.
• In a general classroom support role, support wherever needed by the teacher, typically working with several different students throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Instructionally eligible.
• Experience in childcare and/or ABA.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
• Strong assessment skills.
• Passion for supporting students in the learning process.
• Inclination to work well in a team environment.
