South Florida Market Leader (Miami)

About the role

The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of middle market commercial industries. This position will be based in South Florida (Coral Gables or Ft. Lauderdale), and a strong existing network in South Florida/Miami is required. Limited travel should be expected.

Responsibilities

• Consistently grow the practice through expansion of services to existing clients, cross selling with other advisory practices, and obtaining new clients.
• Serve as the face of the Firm to the local market team and the local marketplace.
• Execute the Firm and Service Line vision, strategy, and goals for the South Florida/Miami practice, as well as support other leaders in their execution of the strategic plan.
• Lead Market execution of Firm strategy and goals through reinforcement of Firm Vision Model and champion of Firm’s shared values.
• Develop professionals within the practice and build a talent pipeline with the requisite technical expertise.
• Drive consistency, collaboration and communication among Service Line, Market Leaders, Shared Service Leaders, Advisory and Industry Leaders as well as with other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Masters preferred.
• Must be CPA certified and have an active CPA license.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience with a large local, regional or national public accounting firm.
• Demonstrated experience in driving growth and building an office, practice, industry group, service line or similar.
• Ability to drive success through the influencing of Partners.
