South Dakota Concrete Finisher, Formsetter/Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation and layout of concrete slabs and foundations
• Ensure forms are properly built and aligned before each concrete pour
• Finish concrete surfaces to specific project requirements, ensuring quality and durability
• Maintain monitoring of curing processes to achieve maximum strength and longevity
• Set up and dismantle concrete forms as needed
• Operate tools and machinery safely and effectively
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and standards on job sites
• Communicate with foreman and team members regarding project progress and issues

Requirements

• Background in concrete or form work is required
• Must be able to handle heavy materials and equipment on a regular basis
• Knowledge of concrete forms, rebar, and general concrete construction
• Comfortable operating hand and power tools
• Available for overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Works well as part of a team and holds themselves accountable on the job
• Reliable transportation to job sites
