Concrete Carpenter / Finisher

About the role

This position is working on a heavy industrial construction worksite. The Concrete Carpenter / Finisher will work with the job supervisor to complete projects under contract. A successful candidate will be able to collaborate with a team of professionals to complete these projects within the projected deadline and under budget.

Responsibilities

• Pour and finish concrete for flatwork and sitework projects.
• Finish concrete edges by hand and operate finishing equipment.
• Use machines to vibrate concrete and eliminate air pockets.
• Able to read and interpret instructions.
• Document, plan, and perform work activities independently.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Perform all other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2 years of form setting, rod-busting and concrete finishing experience in an industrial construction setting.
• TWIC Card and/or Real ID’s are required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
