South Charlotte PCA Immediate Hire

About the role

Immediate hire for a compassionate, experienced PCA/Caregiver to work with a lovely family in the South Charlotte, Lake Wylie area. Family needs assistance with mom who had a stroke and is right side paralysed, with the chance of full recovery. Position requires personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, assisting with exercise and companionship.

We are seeking empathetic and reliable Caregivers who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and companionship to individuals who require help with daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience required
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Must have proof of recent Tuberculosis test (within a year) or be willing to undergo baseline TB testing.

Pay

Position is paying $18 per hour for a minimum of 16-20+ hours per week. We offer competitive compensation of $18 an hour.

Schedule

Consistent schedule is as follows with additional shifts added as needed:

• Tuesdays 10am - 3pm
• Thursdays 12pm - 6pm
• Fridays 10am - 3pm
