Kelly is seeking an experienced Sourcing Analyst for an onsite position in Columbus, IN. This role offers a competitive salary of $32.59/hr and standard business hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide tactical, administrative support for the Sourcing team.
- Run monthly reports and analyze data.
- Track progress on projects, reporting out status updates.
- Aid team members with setting up new parts in the system.
- Independently execute sourcing activities with an understanding of their impact on the end-to-end supply chain.
- Support the execution of sourcing tactics in alignment with established strategies for cost, quality, and delivery.
- Participate in sourcing and commodity strategy formulation.
- Prepare and present recommendations to senior leadership regarding process improvements and alternative courses of action.
- Ensure consistent application of sourcing procedures and processes.
- Support purchasing/sourcing management through price benchmarking, vendor management, industry and market analysis, process analysis, and model building.
- May lead and coach a team of sourcing analysts and specialists.
- Negotiate select contracts and build/maintain effective supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards, proactively identifying risk situations.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing (preferred) or supply chain.
- Experience utilizing ERP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated success with complex market, supply chain, and supplier analyses.
- Ability to balance and anticipate stakeholder needs.
- Negotiation skills, with exposure to contract management and source selection processes.
- Understanding of source-to-pay principles, supplier relationship management, and new product development sourcing preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience leading small teams or projects.
- Exposure to supplier capacity management and contract development/management.
- Experience with product life cycle or tooling management in a sourcing context.
