Sourcing Specialist
Position Overview
Coordinates the prudent purchase and contracting of commodities, equipment, services, as assigned, in accordance with internal policies and procedures, including but not limited to investigating alternatives, reviewing cost effectiveness, soliciting bids, and negotiating with vendors. Works closely with the Value Analysis Coordinator of Procurement, MMIS System Administrator, Contract Specialist, Purchasing Agents, and Purchasing Assistants. Will coordinate contracts that cross lines of responsibility throughout all UHS facilities in all assigned areas of responsibility.

Compensation
Compensation Range: $30.58 - $45.86 per hour, depending on experience
Education/Experience
- Minimum Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Business or related field with 2 years purchasing experience or Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Business or related field with 3 years purchasing experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management or other business related function.
- Preferred: Experience with healthcare procurement and possible clinical background
