Sourcing Specialist

About the role

At Levata, we are seeking a Sourcing Specialist who will be responsible for assisting the overall Sales organization with sourcing and quoting initiatives as well as approval processes for outgoing consumables orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage an approval queue and workflow for Consumables orders in ERP system
• Assist with and facilitate workload in the Consumables Sourcing/Quoting Queue including, but not limited to, LTL Quotes, Airtrack availability, and other detailed information requests
• Review alternative items and provide comparable items to Sales Representatives and customers
• Support Sales Representatives with quotes, product recommendations and stock questions
• Contribute to a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback and drive change within the facility, adapt to the growing business, and stay focused on the customer experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s / Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2 years’ experience in a purchasing, sales support, customer service, or similar role
• Strong MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Critical thinking and process driven
• Accuracy of Work
