Sourcing Specialist

About the role

Supports strategic sourcing through supplier research, competitive bidding, commercial analysis, negotiations, and market intelligence. Focuses on supplier selection and commercial optimization before purchasing execution.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier market research and identify qualified suppliers
• Prepare and manage RFQs and RFPs
• Analyze supplier quotations and total cost of ownership
• Develop bid evaluations and award recommendations
• Support supplier qualification and preferred supplier programs
• Assist with negotiation of pricing, rebates, terms and blanket agreements
• Monitor commodity markets and supplier risks
• Transition awarded suppliers to Purchasing for execution

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3–5 years relevant experience
• ERP/Procurement system experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
