Job Summary
Dominion Energy has an exciting opportunity on our Supply Chain Management team as a Sourcing Specialist. The selected candidates will be located at our North Anna Nuclear facility in Mineral, VA.
Responsibilities
- Purchases and manages standard agreements for materials, equipment, services, rentals, and leases.
- Identifies, solicits, evaluates, and awards bids for supplier quotations, proposals, and product descriptions.
- Assists with analysis of supplier standard item and service proposals for price, safety performance, legal, insurance reviews, capability, quality, delivery, compliance with order terms, and consistency with sourcing strategy.
- Negotiates, awards, and implements contracts and standard purchase orders.
- Follows up and expedites overdue purchase orders to obtain shipping information and effectively communicates delivery information to station personnel.
- Supports identification and implementation of cost improvements for purchased materials and services.
- Communicates with field and project personnel to evaluate compliance with purchase contracts.
- Resolves problems regarding material delivery, price discrepancies, quality issues, invoice discrepancies, and/or adjustments.
- Partners with the customer to better understand commodity management and customer needs.
- For nuclear, basic knowledge and ability to learn nuclear safety-related parts procurement and the requirements and regulations of 10CFR50 APPENDIX B & 10CFR21 APPLICABILITY associated with nuclear parts quality.
- Resolves issues associated with nuclear corrective actions with ability to compose an acceptable response necessary for close out.
- Ability to handle high-volume workload while maintaining quality work.
- Provides weekend and after-hours support as needed for outages and emergencies.
- Works on special projects and initiatives to meet departmental objectives.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- 2-3+ years of related experience.
- Knowledge of procurement practices, procedures and policies.
- Working knowledge of business and contract law.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of MRP, ERP, and purchasing and logistics systems and processes.
- Knowledge of materials and services delivery fulfillment processes.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Education Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Preferred disciplines: Business Administration, Engineering.
Working Conditions
- Hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking).
- May require weekend and after-hours support for outages and emergencies.
What You'll Get
- Competitive salary range: $65,500 - $85,000.
