Sourcing Specialist
We are seeking a motivated Procurement & Sourcing Specialist to support major manufacturing and facility investment projects across our global operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career procurement professional looking to develop expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and project-based procurement. You'll work closely with engineering, operations, finance, and project teams to help drive critical investments while contributing to cost savings and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Support sourcing and procurement activities for major projects and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and manage Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes with suppliers and contractors.
- Evaluate supplier proposals, pricing structures, and overall project costs.
- Participate in contract negotiations and commercial discussions.
- Partner with engineering, operations, finance, and project teams to align sourcing decisions with business and project requirements.
- Monitor project milestones, supplier deliverables, and procurement schedules.
- Assist with supplier selection, bid evaluations, and approval processes.
- Build and maintain strong supplier and contractor relationships.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier optimization, and process improvements.
- Support a growing sourcing organization by contributing to best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Procurement, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, or indirect procurement.
- Experience supporting RFQs, supplier communications, vendor management, or sourcing projects.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working within an ERP system.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Self-motivated professional who can quickly learn new processes and operate independently.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $42.78/hr.
