About the Role
Assist the Line of Business (LoB) with Coupa information, training, and compliance. Support compliance of the procurement for manufacturing (PfM) process, address supplier issues, and expand/maintain the site Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program.
Responsibilities
- Adjust content in Coupa as needed and assist LoB with tactical sourcing events.
- Administer Coupa purchase orders for complex IT goods and services in a timely manner.
- Ensure the purchasing process complies with corporate and local guidelines.
- Track and manage all department-related SLAs, vendor contracts, and agreements.
- Resolve IT pricing, quality, and delivery issues with responsible orders.
- Assist with the expansion and maintenance of the VMI program across NNPILP sites.
- Support the qualification of suppliers and address supplier issues related to cost, delivery, or quality.
- Backup local sourcing responsible for the PfM process; assist LoB in identifying PfM requirements, review data for compliance, address LoB’s questions regarding usage, and monitor PfM training needs and spend compliance.
- Maintain and develop department procedures according to cGMPs.
- Develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Coordinate sourcing activities with Denmark (DK) for assigned commodities.
- Represent NNPILP on global and local project teams for changes affecting sourcing activities.
- Recommend changes to existing workflows and processes to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, or a relevant field of study from an accredited university (required).
- May consider an Associate’s Degree in Logistics, Business, or a relevant field with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in planning/purchasing in a manufacturing environment or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in planning/purchasing in a manufacturing environment or related field (required).
- Coupa background in Purchasing, Sourcing, and Contract modules (preferred).
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to export and analyze spend data to identify trends for cost savings (required).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred).
- Proven process improvement skills and ability to lead departmental process improvement projects (preferred).
- Knowledgeable about purchasing procedures (preferred).
- Problem-solving skills (preferred).
- Good presentation skills (preferred).
- Ability to self-prioritize and organize work based on priorities expressed by cross-functional teams (required).
- Ability to execute standard work routinely and effectively (required).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (percentage may vary based on role requirements).
