Sourcing Professional - Buying/Procurement

About the role

Join our team that supports the supply chain management and helps achieve the highest level of asset reliability through a plant-wide, holistic suite of control system and machine condition monitoring and protection hardware, software, and services.

Responsibilities

• Interface with production/suppliers to schedule the receipt of raw material to meet production demand and ensure the timely execution of MRP signals.
• Control and expedite purchases in a professional manner in accordance with strategy.
• Manage material purchasing needs and multiple suppliers.
• Identify and manage material plans that do not meet customer requirements with clear communication to materials leadership.
• Develop supplier relationships and build supplier delivery and inventory metrics.
• Monitor implementation of corrective action plans.
• Monitor and control engineering change for cut-over plans, as well as support coordination of supply chain/engineering with the suppliers if necessary.
• Ensure meeting the requirements of customer on-time delivery through tasks necessary to succeed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a Manufacturing or Materials capacity.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks, establish effective work priorities, create improvement, have persuasive and resilient nature.
• Solid oral, written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge/Understanding of ERP systems and/or SAP experience.
• Completed an APICS training course.

Pay

$62,310.00 - $115,510.00 annually
