About the role
Support the (Sr) Manager-Sourcing and/or Sourcing Manager (Sr) with overall sourcing strategy, provide tactical support (Request for Quotes, etc.), and deliver program support. This role collaborates with a cross-functional team to achieve annual goals, develop and align strategy across the organization, and negotiate long-term agreements with the supply base. You will ensure Integrated Program Teams receive daily/weekly updates, assist with strategic initiatives, and provide tactical procurement support as needed.
Responsibilities
- Support (Sr) Manager-Sourcing/Sourcing Manager (Sr) in developing, communicating, and executing a global strategy for the program to achieve annual goals and objectives.
- Assist with Request for Quotes/Proposals (RFQ/RFP) and tactical procurement when needed.
- Contribute to the strategic sourcing process, including identifying potential new sources of supply that meet Cirrus metrics in quality, delivery, value, and innovation.
- Assist with supplier relationship management.
- Collaborate on new cost-saving ideas with stakeholders and support decision-making using cross-functional business insights.
- Assist with performance reviews of strategic suppliers, monitoring adherence to Cirrus quality, delivery, cost, and innovation metrics.
- Support negotiations on long-term agreements and enforcement of contractual obligations.
- Facilitate regular meetings to align program strategy with the overall commodity strategy.
- Support critical shortages to maintain program milestones.
- Lead sourcing activities for projects following the established Cirrus process, including guidance on cost modeling early in development.
- Assist in problem-solving, issue resolution, and tracking program progress.
- Develop and utilize project KPIs to drive results and meet annual goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university, and 4–7 years of strategic sourcing experience in procurement; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Preliminary knowledge of supply contracts with domestic and international suppliers.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; Avante or JD Edwards preferred.
- Familiarity with engineering systems such as Jira, Creo, Windchill, or Solumina preferred.
- Experience negotiating contracts, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Program/project management experience, including delivery of complex initiatives and cross-functional business development.
- Ability to represent Cirrus professionally both internally and externally.
- Travel may be required up to 25–50% (domestic and international).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate disparate tasks.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills across all formats (public speaking, team meetings, PowerPoint, memos, emails, etc.).
- Strong facilitation skills to align cross-functional teams on tasks and goals.
- Problem-solving skills with knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Office tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Pay
Salary Range: USD $85,461.33/Yr. – USD $128,191.99/Yr.
